A Saratoga County woman has been arrested after being accused of taking part in the violent protests at the United States Capitol last year.

Prosecutors say 29-year-old Katelyn Bartow of Hadley allegedly illegally entered and remained in a restricted area on Capitol grounds on January 6th, 2021, and engaged in disorderly conduct. She has pleaded not guilty and could spend time in prison if convicted. Thousands of protesters stormed the Capitol in attempt to prevent Congress from certifying President Biden's victory over former President Donald Trump.
