A Norway Spruce tree that's currently located in Queensbury is going to be the center of worldwide attention during the holiday season.

That's because the tree, which is being donated by the Lebowitz family, has been selected as the Christmas tree that'll be standing tall in New York City's Rockefeller Center. The tree is going to be cut down on November 10th and will eventually be covered in thousands of lights and topped with a 900-pound Swarovski star. This year's tree-lighting ceremony is November 30th.
