HENRY HILL: Goodfellas Mobster Dies at 69
|
Henry Hill, the one-time mobster whose life was immortalized in the 1990 film Goodfellas, died yesterday at a Los Angeles area hospital of an undisclosed illness, TMZ reports. He was 69.
Hill's girlfriend Lisa told the website, "He had been sick for a long time...his heart gave out."
In Goodfellas, Ray Liotta famously portrayed Hill, who was kicked out of the witness protection program in the early '90s because he kept getting in trouble.
Hill was reportedly working mending his strained family relations in the years prior to his death. He is survived by two children.
