NBA FINALS: LeBron Gets a Ring

LeBron James finally put a ring on it, as the Miami Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 121-106, tonight (Thursday) to become the 2012 NBA Champions.

LeBron had a triple-double with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists and called it the "happiest day of my life." He was named the MVP of the series. He and the rest of the big three -- Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh -- left the game for good with three minutes remaining in the game and started the celebration on the bench.

Since joining the NBA as the number-one draft pick in 2003, a championship title had eluded LeBron. It was the quest for a championship that led him to leave Cleveland to join Wade and Bosh as a dream team in Miami, but it took them two seasons to finally win it all.
