Randy Jackson is apparently back on the American Idol judges panel. Simon Cowell, Jackson's one-time fellow judge, tweeted on Monday, "Just heard Randy is back on Idol. Right decision."

Last month, word was that Randy was being ousted from the judges' table and moved into a mentoring role. Jackson's been with Idol since the show debuted in 2002.

Although there have been a ton of rumors, so far only Mariah Carey has been officially confirmed as a new judge, set to fill one of the spots left open when Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler bailed on the show.
