MEGA-SHARK: Possible Record-Setting Beast Caught
A trio of fishermen recently caught a shark so large it could set a world record. The trio caught the beast off the coast of Huntington Beach, California on Monday and were celebrating the catch be talking to the media on Tuesday.
The 11-feet long, eight-feet in girth and more than 1,300 pound shark was caught about 15 miles offshore, and it took more than two hours to reel it in using a quarter-mile of finishing line.
Jason Johnston, one of the fishermen, said, "It's unreal. This thing is definitely a killing machine. Any wrong step and I could have went out of the boat and to the bottom of the ocean."
