It has been THE hot button issue all week long; First Governor Cuomo pushing through the "NY Safe Act" which has tighened restrictions on military-styled semi-automatic guns, viewed by many as a blatant infringement on 2nd Amendment rights. Now President Obama has entered the fray with his own proposals of gun control.
Chuck and Kelly talk with Congressman Chris Gibson this morning, who opposes the new measures.
Also joining them is Congressman Paul Tonko, who supports certain restrictions in hopes of lessening gun violence.
Finally a local gun shop owner; Pat Popolizio of Taylor and Vadneys in Rotterdam discusses how his business has been affected this past week with the passage of the new legislation.
