Made it through the holidays unscathed!!! Ate what I wanted for three days but, with some planning (thanks Cheryl), I lost a pound last week. Thank you!!!! It was so great not GAINING over the holidays as I usually do.
I set a new goal this week: Lose 10 more pounds by Christmas. That would take me three-quarters of the way to my ultimate goal...losing 40 pounds.
Worked with Cheryl in Latham this week on what I'll be eating this holiday weekend. Great plan. I'll be eating plenty of EVERYTHING I like (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, dessert and more) while making sure I don't go too crazy. It's a good feeling.

I started Jenny Craig seven weeks ago. I didn't want to start this blog until I gave the program a fair..and true to life....evaluation. Seven weeks later I'm down over 17 pounds!!!
The food is surprisingly delicious and I haven't been hungry. I'm getting healthy, losing weight the right way and it feels good. - Chuck
I've never been great at goal-setting. Jenny has really helped me with that. My next goal is to hit 20 pounds lost by Thanksgiving Day. It would...actually let me say IT WILL...be a great way to start the holiday and gets me halfway to that 40 pound goal.
Jenny Craig is in Clifton Park and my home base in Latham (Fresh Market Plaza). I'm working with Cheryl who's smart and helpful and no one there is judgemental. They're there to encourage. Christine, Deb and Kim are great too.
I also love the fact I can live my life and still stick with the program. Party? Night out at a restaurant? Dessert? Glass of wine or beer? No big deal. Cheryl helps me comes up with a battle plan that allows me to have my cake (literally) and stay on track too.
I'm doing it Boys,....and you can too. It's not a "girlie thing". Plenty of beef, pasta and manly food. It works.
Congratulations on being down 17.2lbs and 9.25 inches! Keep up the good work Chuck!
