Morning Update: The Real Victims
It’s the government, and government workers, we should feel sorry for. They’re the real victims of government scandals. The bell tolls for them. Not our liberties. Their livelihoods are what counts, not ours. We’ve been selfish.
The New Yorker Affirms Limbaugh Theorem: Obama Secretly Runs Amnesty Bill from WH
RUSH: So the Gang of Eight is not writing the bill. Obama is... The Limbaugh Theorem shows up every day, sometimes multiple times a day.
SCOTUS Rules Against AZ Voting Law
RUSH: On the surface it appears to be one of these things that's infuriating, yet it's a 7-2 decision.
The Miss Low-Info USA Pageant
RUSH: It's the low-information population there, Snerdley. That's what that is. I mean, hello?
Federal Alerts Have Invaded Your Phone
RUSH: Just go to settings, notifications, scroll all the way to the bottom, and you'll see if they've been installed on your phone. Amber Alerts and Emergency Alerts, you can turn those two off. The Presidential Alert doesn't display. You can't turn that off.
George Will's Take on the Immigration Bill
RUSH: I had not heard that line of thinking from anybody, that this immigration bill will be determined by that: who has ultimate authority over border security.
Money at the Root of GOP's Amnesty Push
RUSH: All of the moneyed interests, the donors and the political consultants, are telling these Republicans the money is gonna dry up if they don't support amnesty. The big money people want it, and they want it for various other reasons that have nothing to do with the Constitution or the law.
Hispanic Caller Against Amnesty
CALLER: There's a lot of Hispanics, a lot of us against amnesty. I myself have lost three jobs due to that fact. They'd rather have two illegals instead of me, and I am an American citizen.
Since When are Democrats Interested in What's Best for the GOP?
RUSH: Here again is where I get to illustrate my utter naivete. I don't understand why the Democrat Senator Menendez wants to us win the White House. Can anybody out there explain to me why Senator Menendez wants the Republican Party to have a pathway to the White House?
Sarah Palin Rocks the Place in DC Speech
RUSH: Sarah Palin, Saturday in Washington, the Faith & Freedom Coalition Conference. We have one, two, three sound bites here...
Kanye Becomes Kim's Baby Daddy
RUSH: The difference between a father and a baby daddy is the wedding ring.

Two interns, did low-level work, running errands, making copies, tracking purchase orders, the kind of stuff interns have been doing forever, including filing. Then they filed suit.
RUSH: I get hopeful e-mails from people -- and, you know me, I am two things. I am Mr. Optimism. I am the epitome of optimism. But I also am the mayor of Realville, and so my optimism is always tempered with reality.
RUSH: What this is all about, folks, is blaming conservatism and conservatives for the defeats that the Republican Party is experiencing.
RUSH: I'll tell you why it pains me, why it is really, really painful, this stuff. Because I really like Senator Rubio. I remember Senator Rubio campaigning against Crist. I know who Rubio is. I wish he would get out of this whole immigration fight and not tarnish himself because there is a lot of potential in Marco Rubio.
RUSH: You can trace the problems with accepting personal responsibility, no consequences for your actions, you can trace so much right back to abortion. And I'm not talking about the women. I'm talking the overall effect of a society having literally no problem with eliminating 52 million of its citizens. That can't be good.
RUSH: I'm gonna say this again. This isn't anything new. Nothing is going to happen to Obama. Nothing is going to happen to any Democrat. Not one of these scandals is going to lead to an investigation that ends up meaning anything.
RUSH: It was the Clinton Global Initiative. Now it's the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. That's what she did. She finds the guy at Yale. They get married. She decides to hook herself to his coattails, and, wherever he goes, take over.
RUSH: Now time, ladies and gentlemen, for the Official Obama Criticizer. Here is Mr. Bo Snerdley...
RUSH: Supporting amnesty and having the Democrats win big-time elections after this is a way for the party to finally get rid of its base. Now, you say, well, replace it with what? Don't ask me.
Both the San Francisco Supervisor and Obama’s EEOC are incredibly arrogant, and ignorant. These people have absolutely no understanding of how businesses work. Worse, they don’t even care!
RUSH: It is a story about how members of Congress, having to face the same consequences of the law that you and I have to face, can't afford it because their premiums and benefits are no longer going to be subsidized. Therefore, it's gonna be exorbitantly expensive. And, if it isn't resolved, massive numbers of lawmakers and aides bolt, many on Capitol Hill fear it could lead to a brain drain. Oh, my God.
RUSH: I don't understand how the Republicans do not understand what they're doing to themselves with this. I do not understand how it is they do not see what's happening. I don't understand how they don't get what the Democrats are doing.
RUSH: We have the NSA. We have the IRS. We got Benghazi. We got Syria. We got all kinds of stuff. And let me tell you what's really important in the mainstream news...
RUSH: It's
RUSH: Tebow's spirituality is the reason people are so afraid of what he might bring to a locker room. And yet the owner of the Patriots says, "That's the stuff of winners. And we're happy to have him."
CALLER: It's been 15 years listening to you, and I'm thrilled that my expertise and your expertise may actually intersect and allow me to make you look good.
RUSH: One of the very, very early musical selections that we featured on this program.
The National Father’s Day Council has picked the individual who will receive recognition as the “Father of the Year.” The honoree of the 72nd Annual Father of the Year Awards is none other than our esteemed 42nd President, Bill Clinton.
RUSH: Any of you high-tech specialists out there, tell me, how do I retreat to the shadows and join the 10 to 11 million illegals in the shadows so that I, too, cannot be found. I want what they've got. I want the anonymity they have. How do I become an illegal?
RUSH: You've got full-fledged amnesty coming out of the Senate, and you've got whatever the Republicans pass in the House, which probably wouldn't be. The House leadership will appoint the conferees. And so the theory goes that the House leadership would appoint people who would probably have no problem altering the House bill to agree with the Senate bill. And that there are enough RINOs in the House to pass the conferenced compromise bill that would essentially be the Senate version.
RUSH: Saying the information does not belong to the customer is all well and good, but it doesn't belong to the government, either. This is what bothers me about where we are.
RUSH: She would know, and she would also be loose-lipped enough to mention it. She was proud of it, this massive, unprecedented database that Obama was collecting.
RUSH: Amnesty hits in 1986 and from that point forward is when the Republican Party began to fade into practical nonexistence in California... The big mystery is how come we're the only ones that see this? Why don't the Republicans see it this way? I can't tell you that.
RUSH: There is no end to it in sight. But at least affirmative action itself is now wanted by fewer and fewer.
RUSH: The idea that we might someday be in possession of this data and they are quaking in their boots over it is not gonna stop them from doing it.
RUSH: Full-fledged intimidation. This is what happens in authoritarian regimes.
Your children no longer answer to you. Judge Edward Korman is their daddy and mommy, and their one-stop Planned Parenthood all rolled into one!
RUSH: I swear, you know, you just want to give up. This is the weatherman, Today Show. Where's he been? Where's his head? Is his head someplace that the sun doesn't shine? Where has he been? How is this news to him?
RUSH: Where is our culture going? Courtrooms are not sound stages. Courtrooms are not locker rooms. There has to be a modicum of respect shown.
RUSH: Have I conveyed unwittingly here that the only thing we can do is sit back and wait for the elections of 2014? No, seriously. If anybody has gotten that impression, then try to disabuse yourself of the notion 'cause it isn't true... I fight the futility. I mean, it's there, but, folks, I'm just as disturbed as you are. It's hard to say what's the most disturbing about all this. The ignorance of so many Americans. The apathy of so many Americans. The desire of a major American political party to basically turn this country inside out and upside down. The lack of any pushback on that from our party in Washington.
RUSH: I'm still wading through it all, but iOS 7 is a massive change. I think for certain iPhone customers, iOS 7 is gonna cause people to throw their hands up in frustration. Even though the operation is the same, it looks so different. Some of the new features are -- I love them. I love every new feature.
RUSH: All of a sudden now, in the midst of all of these scandals, PRISM, Verizon, all this stuff, now we're getting polling data that shows a vast majority support it, and not only support it, but want more of it... As long as Obama is targeting the right Americans, like those dangerous Tea Party people, then everything's fine with these Democrats.
RUSH: It wasn't that long ago, I kept hearing how important it was to find out what the Millennials thought, how important it was to pay attention to what the Millennials thought their future would be. Okay. This is a pretty good example of a Millennial. And now, all of a sudden, the only difference between this guy and a bag of excrement is the bag because he's 29.
RUSH: You know, you're singing my song in one sense, in the sense that I have constantly told people they have much more influence over people just by living their lives than they possibly will ever even know.
RUSH: This business of having these newly legal, provisionally legal, immigrants wait 13 years for all the goodies of citizenship, you have to be born on a turnip truck to think that that's gonna hold up... Chuck Schumer will leave the signing ceremony at the White House, and he'll find the nearest camera outside the driveway, and he'll start talking about how unfair this 13 years is and he doesn't know how it ended up in the bill. But it's unfair. It's unjust. It's un-American. It's discriminatory.
RUSH: John Bolton says, look, all three branches signed off on this... In my mind -- and I'm sorry to be naive -- that doesn't make it legal... I love John Bolton. I have an incredible amount of respect for John Bolton. But all three branches signing off -- this is the most massive amount of spying and data collection ever. It's happening in the midst of news stories of how this administration is openly targeting for punishment its political enemies.

RUSH: The fact is, this is the biggest snooping enterprise against Americans ever. That's the takeaway here. This is the fundamental point... But we have a unique set of circumstances here that accompany Barack Obama in the Oval Office, and those circumstances are like an impenetrable fortress around him.
RUSH: Guess what he's out doing today? He's back on the War on Women. He's revving that back up. It's some 50th anniversary of the Equal Pay Act or some such thing and he's out there talking about women bringing home the bacon but they don't get the bacon. I've got the sound bites...
RUSH: These are occurrences that, had they happened either individually or collectively, under any other administration, a far different reaction would have taken place to any and all of them.
RUSH: You're not gonna talk people against Obama. Too many factors that stand in the way of that. But you can persuade people that Democrats are a problem. You can persuade people that liberalism isn't good for them. You can persuade people to vote against the Democrat Party. You can persuade people to vote against individual Democrats, or the Democrat Party at large. But there's no point in trying to get people to disavow their support for Obama right now. That isn't gonna happen.
RUSH: I'm in a holding pattern just to wait and see, because, as you know, I do everything I can to avoid the conventional wisdom of the day, to follow the crowd.
RUSH: Why would he tell these people that? Why would he say that to anybody? "We don't want to tax all businesses out of business." Well, the reason is because it is obvious he does want to tax all businesses out of business!

The head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, is criticizing America, for cutting government spending too much, and too quickly.
RUSH: The people on the other side of the glass: "Will you dial that coup talk back?" That's all the headlines are gonna be. I don't care. In fact, it's almost on par with:
RUSH: Within the first two days after 9/11, I specifically said or warned or asked or begged that whatever we do, we do not do anything that takes away our rights or encroaches on them or freedom. I remember making that point, "Whatever we do..." So I'm taking a stand: I did not wish for what's happening now, is the point. I was worried that what's happening now was gonna happen precisely because of 9/11.
RUSH: The reason everything is scripted is to make sure Obama doesn't become Obama, is to make sure Obama stays inside of himself, to make sure that Obama doesn't default to Saul Alinsky up on that pedestal. That's why if it isn't written down, he's not gonna say it. They're not gonna take that chance. So that's what happens when it's not there. He's totally lost.
RUSH: This is a woman who knowingly admittedly cheated in a presidential debate, helping Obama against Mitt Romney. Who you gonna believe, me or her?
RUSH: I want a victory that lasts and I want a victory that's substance and I want a victory that has a mandate, so I want to beat 'em in the arena of ideas.
RUSH: The economy doesn't stand a chance as long as this administration is in charge of policies that govern it.
RUSH: How is it that President Obama is able to remain unattached from his own policies, his own administration? The Limbaugh Theorem explains it.
RUSH: Jony Ive is the guy who designs all the hardware, the iPhones, the iPads, the MacBooks, the MacBook Pros and so forth, and everybody is really excited to see what he does with the operating system for the iPhone and the iPad. I am, too.
RUSH: You're talking about the Republicans learning how to identify voters and their patterns and reach them using high tech, and you're absolutely right. The Republicans are clueless.

RUSH: I'm gonna handle the next seminar caller we get that way because I want the mainstream media calling me brilliant, which is what the spokeskid did. Oh, yeah, Michelle's response was actually brilliant.
RUSH: There's nobody even close to the violation of privacy and civil liberties, nobody even close, to what Obama's done... This is utterly embarrassingly shameless. To bend over backwards or forwards or to pretzel yourself in whatever perverted position is necessary to include George W. Bush in this? But that's what they're doing, because it just can't be Obama's fault. It just can't be!
RUSH: You can't say it much better than he said it there. But how about all the other trillions of dollars that this government wastes? Where is the same attitude about all of those wasted dollars? Why now is this attitude only about the IRS excess when it happens to be at the top of the news? How about all of the other millions and trillions of dollars wasted that are also taxpayer dollars, that are also the dollars of the guy hauling trash for 45 grand a year up the street from you at your neighborhood? But, better late than never.
CALLER: The first thing that I thought of when I heard that
RUSH: The EPA wants to regulate carbon dioxide. Michelle Obama's demanding the right to tell us what we can eat. Democrats are demanding a national gun registry, universities have speech codes, Obama drones can see where you are in your home and can shoot you.
RUSH: The left in this country has created stress and piled stress on the top of it. They have created trauma with virtually every aspect of life, to the point that people are constraining themselves. They're not living carefree, happy, freedom-oriented lives.
RUSH: Here is a 10-year-old girl who's not a Democrat and who isn't a donor, and who has nothing to say about whether the Democrats win elections and what do they say to her? (Raspberry) you.
RUSH: Why would illegals want to become citizens? It's called chain immigration.
Mark (aka Butch Weehawken) filled in from Ice Station EIB in New Hampshire. Check out Mark's Stack for links, audio clips and more. Rush returns on Wednesday, June 5th.
