A baby is at Albany Medical Center after ingesting heroin; her mother is facing charges.
Albany Police say Carli Donovan admits that she was using heroin and became unconscious and unaware of what the child was doing. When Donovan came to, she realized her 13 month old daughter had ingested the drug and brought her to the hospital for treatment. Narcan was administered to the child and she is listed in stable condition. Donovan is charged with Reckless Endangerment and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
